I hope this is the first and the last time this happens, but I cannot promise so here is my confession. I totally spaced off picking Abby up from the bus stop and had to go to the school where the bus dropped her back at. I told her that I was very sorry! I felt VERY stupid!
I keep worrying that I am going to do that. Last week, however, the BUS forgot to pick up all of the kindergarten children at their school. I had to go get Ethan at the school ONE HOUR after school ended. He was crying because he was so scared.

Don't stress too much. I've been called as people's "emergency person" by schools to pick up the children of normally responsible people. It happens to the best of us.

That's happened here too. At least Adam is old enough now they will let him off by himself and he can walk up the hill alone. Stuff happens!
