Memorial Day Weekend

Well, this is my 2nd time typing this entry....I guess that is what I get for messing around with where the pics appeared after I downloaded them. We had soooooooooooo much fun over Memorial Day Weekend!!! Our fun started with a fun-filed, low stress camp out in my parent's woods in their back yard. It was so nice not having to deal with traffic and craziness. We all slept out the 1st night and for being our first camp out in a LONG time, we did very well. We decided that Natalie and I would go home on night #2 which was great! Mike was in charge of meals and DANG they were yummy!!! Saturay since we were so close to home, we decided to go home for some well needed naps. After being well rested we decided to head up to Lord's Hill Park for a short hike, we could not help but take advantage of the beautiful weekend. On our way to hiking, we saw a caravan of old racing cars (1930's???),they reminded us of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang! I stayed that night until after dinner and smores, which were yummy yummy! It is fun when you end a camp out excited for the next one.

On Monday, we decided that it would be fun to take Abby & Maddy to the movies. We kept which movie a suprise and Grandma & Grandpa watched Natalie for us. It was fun to come to pick Natalie up to find her napping in the hammock, I guess she had been there for 1 1/2 hours. I have to say that I think she picked a very nice spot to nap.
Even waking up this Tuesday morning to overcast weather, I can't help but have a smile on my face thinking about the beautiful weekend we just had. I am so thankful for living in such an amazingly beautiful place.
