I went into Everett to run some errands and on my way home was crossing the Tressel when all of a sudden I saw some people driving on the shoulder which initially FREAKED me out until I read the sign. I guess from 3-7 pm Mon-Fri, the shoulder is open to car traffic!!! Some people might be laughing at me but I guess I just don't go into Everett very often!!
nono I did that too! In fact I almost honked at the car I saw in the shoulder, then I saw my husband driving in front of that car and got REALLY flabbergasted!.....then saw the sign saying I'm an idiot...oops
ReplyDeleteI think I first saw the signs a week or two ago. It wasn't between 3 and 7 pm so I didn't freak out but was rather happy. It's about time they did that and got traffic moving. We were so disappointed when they rebuilt the tressle and made it wide enough for 3 lanes but then only painted the lines for 2.
