We had parent/teacher conferences tonight and then ended with the book fair which included a chance to meet Clifford. Natalie loves real dogs so I wasn't sure which way she was going to go with Clifford. I had to carry her by Clifford to get her into the Book Fair and then she was OK with him as long as he was on the other side of the room. She never took her eyes off of him and would wave to him but as you can see from one of the pics that Clifford got a little too close. At the very end of the Book Fair I decided to carry her over next to him and have Maddy take pics. We had a BIG break through and she interacted with him!!! Way to go Natalie!
Your family pics are SOOOOO awesome! I can't wait for Miss Sarah to do mine, too....now I only need to have the time (not to mention Sarah needs some of that, too) Don't we have an awesome big sis?

ReplyDeleteAdam met Clifford at the Puyllap Fair one year, I think he was turning 4 that year. He was too smart for me though. He was really mad and wouldn't go up to him. When I asked what the problem was he said that wasn't really Clifford, just a guy in a silly suit. So much for childhood illusions lasting past 4 years old. Sigh.
