Towards the end of my hospital stay, we realized we had not taken any pictures so then we had fun taking some pics for the girls and all of our friends. This recliner Mike slept in was very noisy, but better then nothing which was the other option. I have a new friend, my journal that I bought myself yesterday. It is very nice to be able to write about all of this stuff, but usually results in me re-crying about things that I am writing about. My doctor told Mike that I have been handling this very maturely. It feels so good to be home with my family. I slept horribly at the hospital, but was able to catch up on all of that missed sleep last night... I slept like 15 hours last night.
You can't write too much in that journal....I'm sure that is very therapeutic for you. We love you, Becksta!
ReplyDeleteOh, I got you a journal...but I forgot to give it to you. Oops. I'm glad you got yourself one. How's the new kitty? Did you get it?
ReplyDeleteI'm glad that you were able to catch up on your sleep. Sleeping in the hospital is a joke, I always end up exhausted. My journal is my best friend. Hugs!
ReplyDeleteHow do I add the breast cancer healing ribbon to my blog?
ReplyDeleteBecky, I can't believe what happens when I don't keep in touch for a few months. I was a bit shocked to learn all that's going on in your life, but love reading about your upbeat attitude. I believe that's what makes a difference when we are faced with trials. I'm so glad you are home and will hopefully just call you and get a visit in soon.
ReplyDeleteHang in there! You are amazing.
